Jane F. Garvey holds the Certified Specialist of Wine credential from the Society of Wine Educators. With a doctorate in Romance Languages from the University of Georgia, Jane is well equipped to travel the world of wine, and has explored viticulture from Europe to the Southern Hemisphere, including South America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Of course, she has also visited wineries and tasted wines across the North American continent as well, including Canada. She has written about a diverse range of subjects, including food and wine, travel, art, design and history. Her titles include topics as varied as barbecue in Georgia, wine in North Carolina and, recently, grass-fed beef production in Georgia.
