FAQs

1. Where are your classes taught?
You can get directions to our facility here: http://www.atlantawineschool.com/contact-us/

2. Should I eat before I come?  Will there be any food served?
All of our classes include antipasta items, breads/crackers, cheeses, and fine bottled waters from Acqua Panna.  We believe that food should always be present with wine.  Some classes will include more food than described above.  The “Class Will Include” section of the course description will indicate when more food will be served.  Unless otherwise indicated the food served will not constitute a full meal for most.

3. How much wine will be served?  Will I need to take a taxi home?
Being safe and professional is our number one priority.  You can be assured that you are in a learning environment where you only taste as much wine as you are comfortable tasting.  All of our pours are “taste” pours less than 1.5oz.  There are typically anywhere from 6-8 of them within a 2-hour timeframe.  If you would like, you can have a “spit cup” so you only taste the wine and then expell it.  This practice is quite common in the industry and respected.  Common sense when drinking alcohol should be observed and wine should be consumed only in moderation and not so as to cause impairment or drunkenness.

    • Hi Hosie,

We’ve never had this request, and frankly, we don’t know how to do it! Can you give some insights? Thanks
